Gordon & Smith "One Long Ride" Movie Project Q&A/Fundraiser/Holiday Bash
Preserving San Diego's Surf & Skate History
Surely the biggest news to hit these parts is the launch of a new Gordon & Smith movie project in conjunction with Resulting Impact Films, producers of the highly acclaimed "A Line in the Sand" documentary about the founding of Tourmaline Surfing Park.

This comes hot on the heels of the Golden Era of Skateboarding project being launched by Dennis Ogden and friends as mentioned in the last newsletter. These two projects are linked in so many ways, just look at the big yellow G&S banner in the crowd shot from the early '80s as proof!

It seems that preserving the history of our local San Diego surf and skate scene is now in full swing, and I say it's about time! That was one of my primary goals in creating the space here on Turquoise Street, and it's great to see these kinds of projects taking form!
