The San Diego Surfing Hall of Fame was created out of the surfing community’s response to our Skip Frye Tribute presented during our 2017 San Diego Surf Film Festival. We began the festival in 2012 and every year we pick a surfing legend to represent one of our film awards and Skip became the obvious choice to be the 2017. We saved the “Spirit of the Festival” award for Skip knowing it would be perfect for Skip’s soul style.

We are also accepting donations of unwrapped toys for the toy drive, so bring some goodies to help spread holiday cheer to a deserving young child.
